How to layer SCO skincare products
Cleanse your skin (AM and PM)
Whether you are layering your morning or night skincare routine, always begin by washing your face. Take care that your skin is free of makeup and dirt so the products can effectively get absorbed into the deeper layers of skin. At nighttime, go for a double cleanse using cleansing oil to remove your makeup and sunscreen. Follow this with the gentle cleanser suitable for your skin type.
SCO product to try: Olive and Castor Bean Cleansing Milk
This gentle cleansing milk is suitable for all skin types and effectively removes impurities while maintaining the skin’s natural sebum balance and nourishing your skin.
How to use: Massage a couple of pumps onto damp skin. Gently remove with organic muslin cloth and hot water.
Exfoliate (AM or PM) weekly or monthly, depending on the skin type
Exfoliation helps unclog pores, reduces blemishes, promotes healthy skin, and removes the dead skin cells––– making your skin clear and smooth and enhancing brightness, hydration, and product absorption.
It’s best not to exfoliate when your skin is sunburnt—allowing the skin to heal on its own without any irritant gently heals the irritated skin. Exfoliating once or twice a week would be best because too much exfoliation will give the face a windburned look.

How to use: Combine 1 tsp of clay with a teaspoon of water, form a paste and apply it to your face. Leave it for 10 min and wash it with warm water.
Apply toner (AM and PM)

How to use
Damp cotton pad with rose water spritz and wipe over skin after cleansing your face to remove the final traces of impurities.
Time to apply nourishing serums (AM and PM)
After cleansing, your face is all set to take in additional nutrients. Start layering your serums or creams from the thinnest to the thickest. Layering thick products first block products from getting absorbed into your skin. Leave a time interval of 1 minute between the application of each product to allow active ingredients to get absorbed into your skin.

Apply eye cream (AM and PM)

How to use:
Gently massage a small amount of the cream around the eyes using circular movements morning and evening.
Moisturize the skin barrier (AM and PM)
Applying moisturizer to your skin is vital in both night and morning routines as moisturizing makes your skin soft, supple, and nourished.
To increase hydration for dry skin, apply face oil to your skin before moisturizing. Face oils are non-comedogenic and light, with oil formulated to treat dryness. Likewise, use a night cream during the evening as the last step in your skincare routine.
SCO product to use: Fountain of Youth Face Cream
A light day or night face cream enriched with GLA-rich evening primrose and other skin-nourishing nutrients, this moisturizing cream nourishes and brightens your skin resulting in a healthy complexion.
How to use: Combine with Fountain of Youth Face Cream, Hydrating Serum, or Rosehip oil, and apply both morning and evening to clean damp skin.
Apply SPF (AM)
Wearing sunscreen protects your skin from the harmful UV rays of the sun. Choose sunscreens with at least SPF 30 and offer lip and broad-spectrum protection.
A mineral-based sunscreen with titanium oxide and zinc oxide is best because they are physical blockers rather than chemical blockers.
