Are you a regular customer of SCO? Welcome to the SCO family!

Since you’re using many of our beauty products, you’ll have quite a lot of our beauty bottles and jars in stock. Instead of throwing them out, we’ll discuss how to recycle glass bottles and jars into exciting and useful pieces of art.

You can use our creative ideas to upscale all your glass bottles and jars. This way, you’ll be doing Mother Earth a great favor.

Here are some best creative DIY ideas to get you started.

#1. Painted flower vases

Add some color to your interiors using painted flower vases––––gather a few bottles of various sizes and shapes. Choose your paint colors. Perp the bottles by removing any labels, then wash and dry them.

Swirl in a few tablespoons of paint into the bottle and turn it upside down to remove excess paint. The bottles need at least three days of drying time. These beautiful DIY bottle vases look perfect, with a few blooms tucked inside.

#2. Rainbow lucky lanterns

Do you have a lucky charm? If not, then create one with our SCO bottles. Cut your bottles int half using a bottle cutter. Squeeze a generous amount of sheer colors into the cut end of your container. Twirl the bottle and help the paint to spread inside all over the bottle.

Let the excess drip into the paint bottle to save it for your next project. Using the craft knife, remove any color that’s dried over the bottle top. Allow the containers to dry. Create gorgeous rainbow lanterns for everyday spring or summer decor or for your next party. Find the instructions here.

#3. Candles in cut beauty bottles

Slice your bottle into half using a bottle cutter. Heat soy wax in a double boiler. The wax will melt quickly. Allow the wax to cool and pour it into the cut bottles.

If you’re a fragrance person, mix a few drops of your favorite essential oil into the soy wax. Place the Wix properly while the wax is cooling. Play with your creativity and decorate the bottle candles.

#4. Cute candy jars

Quickly buy some wooden knobs and silver spray paint to turn ordinary jars into classic candy jars. Add a drop of glue to the wooden knobs and stick to the center each jar cover.

Allow the knobs to dry. Spray the lids and knobs with a soft coat of silver paint. Now you’ll have a beautiful set of jars to fill in candies or nuts. Find the instructions here.

#5. DIY terrarium

Bring a lit bit of nature into your home with this natural DIY terrarium. Fill an empty glass jar with some pebbles. Sprinkle some activated charcoal to cover the pebbles. Finally, add some fertile potting soil. Fill your terrarium with miniature succulents, or cacti, and turn your home into a green oasis.

#6. Self-watering herb garden

Do you love to grow fresh herbs? Well, with a little elbow grease, you can turn our SCO bottles into self-watering planters. Curious? Cut the bottles into half. The bottom half of the container will be the water reservoir, while the top half will be the planter.

Add some strings to secure the bottle. Here’s the procedure. Fill the container with potting soil and transplant your herbs. A beautiful garden sits on your window sill, melting your stress away.

There’s more you can do with our SCO bottles and jars. Use them as storage bottles for your spices, or turn your chaotic desk into a pleasantly organized oasis or construct a beautiful bird feeder.
