Water has memory and energy.Â
Blue Gold, as water is famously known, has memory and energy. Scientists call it “The Discovery of the Millennium.”Â
German scientists examined individual drops of water under incredible high magnification and found each droplet had its individualized microscopic pattern that’s uniquely beautiful.
In a follow-up experiment, researchers placed a natural flower in a water body. They took drops of water and viewed it at high resolution. Interestingly all the drops looked similar. Â
The experiment was repeated with different species of flowers, and again researchers examined the water droplets.
This time, the droplets had a different microscopic pattern, making the scientists conclude that water has memory because, for each species, the water droplets had a different pattern.
Likewise, a Japanese scientist called Dr. Masuru Emoto had done some interesting experiments with water to prove it absorbs positive and negative vibrations.
His experiment’s fascinating fact was that he found water droplets formed beautiful hexagonal crystals after love and gratitude have been spoken to it. Contrarily when he tested dirty water, the droplets failed to form hexagonal crystals.

Why water is used in skincare products
The International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients states that manufacturers should use only purified water free of toxins, microbes, and pollutants in skin care products.
Shirley says, “In skincare, pure distilled water is used as a solvent for water-soluble compounds in the formula and botanical extracts that are water-soluble.”
“It is also a necessary ingredient to create an emulsion with oil-soluble actives and lipids to create that luscious, creamy texture that you love. It forms part of the TEWL (transepidermal water loss), a barrier that hydrates the skin keeping it soft and supple.”
There are many benefits of water as a skincare ingredient. Water hydrates your skin and gently cools it.
It allows more ingredient options within a formulation. For example, many botanical extracts are water-soluble and can’t be used in an anhydrous formulation. Besides improving ingredient penetration and absorption, water enhances consistency and spreadability for some products.
At SCO, we use positively charged water to enhance the effectiveness of our skincare products. Similar to the ancient Indian tradition, we allow our water to get positively charged in a storage tank that’s covered with positive words.
We use words like beautiful, joyful, happy, positive, beaming, and stick to the water tank. We use this water to formulate our products. Moreover, we place a flower on the top of the storage tank to pass on the positive vibrations to our products.
5 Stunning benefits of drinking water for your skin
Water does more than just flush out impurities and toxins :
Improves skin tone
Properly hydrated skin looks healthy and plump. Research studies say that drinking just two cups of water could increase blood flow and give an even tone to your skin.
It keeps your skin youthful.
Staying hydrated helps increase skin elasticity. As your skin remains elastic for longer periods, it delays sagging and the appearance of fine lines leaving behind youthful, plump, and glowing skin.
Reduce puffiness
When you’re dehydrated, your skin shows puffiness; your skin retains water to protect you from dehydration. When you properly nourish your skin with water, your skin looks firm and radiant.
Prevents acne
Proper hydration helps to balance the water and oil content on your skin’s surface. This action prevents excess oil and sebum secretion, which results in fewer clogged pores and acne.
Promotes healthy gut resulting in clear skin
Plenty of research studies are linking gut health to skin health. When you have gut inflammation, you’ll have skin inflammation. Regular intake of water significantly enhances gut health, regulates bowel movements, and flushes out toxins. Once you have a healthy gut, you can enjoy clear and radiant skin.
How much water to drink per day
It’s a simple question which demands a complex answer. The U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (USAID) determined that an adequate daily fluid intake is:
- About 15.5 cups of fluids for men
- About 11.5 cups of fluids for women
Your individual water needs could depend on many factors, like how active you are, your location, and your health.
Shirley says, “It’s not a matter of numbers, but rather it’s all about listening and responding to your body. Climate, daily activities, and food choices can change your daily requirement. If you’re exercising, you may feel more thirsty, if it’s sunny outside, you may drink more, or if you’ve eaten spicy food, you may feel a little more thirsty than usual.”
How to best drink water
So how do you drink water? Instead of gulping down water, please take a moment, sit down and drink it, sip by a sip from a glass. Gulping can make you feel bloated; instead, slowly sipping water nourishes your body.
Drinking hot or cold water is good for you. If the water temperature is between 50 and 72 degrees, it helps your body to rehydrate faster as it gets absorbed quickly. Water with a pH ranging from 6.5 to 8.5 is the healthiest to drink.
Detox water enhances your skin’s beauty; adding mint, basil, lemon, ginger not only improves the taste but provides all the needed nutrients for healthy glowing skin.
Also, it’s best to use a water filtering system to enhance the quality of water. A home filtration system decreases chlorine exposure while washing, drinking, and breathing. Also, it helps in reducing the amount of chlorine in showers and sinks. This greatly reduces allergies and protects your skin and hair.
Shirley says, “I use a water filter at home also to eliminate plastic. It is wonderful because the water tastes great and has seven filters to remove all toxins, including a UV filter. It adds back necessary minerals and creates an alkaline pH, which you can decide yourself.”
Wrapping up
Make it a priority to drink an adequate amount of water each day and enjoy your skin’s radiance.
